Alabama Bass Trail

Here is a little info about the new Alabama Bass Trail.  (Taken from their FB page https://www.facebook.com/AlabamaBassTrail)....

The Alabama Bass Trail was created to promote Alabama as a year-round fishing destination for anglers throughout the United States.

Mission

To Promote, Preserve and Educate. To "Promote" Alabama as a year-round fishing destination. To "Preserve" our natural resources for generations to come. To "Educate" high school and college aged students to be good stewards of our natural resources. The ABT will host 11-20 conservation/education projects annually giving Alabama high school and college students opportunities to earn grants for their respective bass fishing clubs. Clubs completing 250 hours of service will receive a $500 grant back to their club. Also the TOP Senior Angler will receive a $1,000 cash scholarship at the Alabama Student Angler Bass Fishing Championship.

The Alabama Bass Trail will be launched on March 8, 2012 at the Lake Guntersville State Park Pavilion.
Description
11 premier bass fishing lakes throughout Alabama. Lake Guntersville, Wheeler Lake, Pickwick Lake, Lewis Smith Lake, Neely Henry Lake, Lay Lake, Logan Martin Lake, Lake Jordan, Alabama River, Lake Eufaula and the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta.

I'm not, but if I had a good boat, I would get me a youth partner and for sure fish this one.
